A motion was made to amend LB 397 to provide that the
Property Tax Division has responsibility for assuring assessment quality, clarify
that county aid is to be distributed based on the certificate of taxes levied,
strike provisions dealing with reimbursement of expenses, and strike sections 2
and 39.
