SENATOR COORDSEN:  You've heard the motion.  All of those in favor please say aye.  Those opposed nay.  They are adopted.  Anything further on the bill?

CLERK:  Senator Stuhr would move to amend the bill.  Mr. President.  (See AM0601 on pages 838-839 of the Legislative Journal.)

SENATOR COORDSEN:  Senator Stuhr, to open on your amendment.

SENATOR STUHR:  Thank you, Senator Coordsen and members of the Legislature.  My amendments can be found on the machine.  For some reason they are not printed in the Journal, but I do want to say that they are only technical in nature, and I would be happy to answer any questions.  If you're not aware, the bill is actually 124 pages, so, as I say, these are really technical in nature.  Thank you.

SENATOR COORDSEN:  Thank you.  There is...are no lights on.  Senator Stuhr, did you wish to say anything in closing on your amendment?  The question before the body is the adoption of the Stuhr amendment to LB 272.  Those in favor please vote aye, those opposed nay.  Record, Mr. Clerk.

CLERK:  25 ayes, 0 nays, Mr. President, on the adoption of Senator Stuhr's amendment.

SENATOR COORDSEN:  The Stuhr amendment is adopted.  Anything further on the bill?

CLERK:  Nothing further on the bill, Mr. President.

SENATOR COORDSEN:  Senator Smith, for a motion.

SENATOR SMITH:  Mr. President, I would move the advancement of LB 272 to E & R for engrossing.

SENATOR COORDSEN:  The motion is to advance LB 272 to E & R for engrossing.  Those in favor please say aye.  Those opposed nay.  The bill is advanced.  Next item, Mr. Clerk.
