| Amend
provisions in the Constitution of Nebraska pertaining to taxes
to: (1) create property tax levy limits for various governmental
subdivisions which could be exceeded by a majority vote of the
voters; (2) authorize the Legislature to prescribe the means
to determine the fair market value of real property for property
tax purposes; and (3) provide that the value of real property
for property tax purposes may not exceed 80% of its fair market
value for agricultural and horticultural land, or 100% of its
fair market value for other real property. |
